SquidVideoLocker for Squid Proxy Cache is a plugin that locks and limits video resolutions of YouTube, Vevo, Dailymotion, Break.com, Apple Trailers and iMDB.
The plugin takes into account all video formats, all resolutions from 360p up to 2160p.
Reduce video resolutions to the lower existing resolution in order to save significant amount of bandwidth for other usages. Once installed on your Squid Proxy Cache, each time one of your users tries to view a web video from YouTube, Vevo, Dailymotion, Break.com, Apple Trailers or iMDB, the plugin will lock and limit the video resolution in order to reduce the size of the audio/video to download and free precious bandwidth for other users.
